@03:33Was this film done yourself or in a project? It's amazing, especially the breath taking scenery. I feel like you're pulling me to a different place. I like the scene where they fly still amongst the clouds and star. I feel the characters appear blocky and too strong for the film and require a softer look to match the scenery.

To fulfill the promise of taking her to see the stars again, he borrowed a plane and flew to where she was, so that they could fly to the stars together.
Set in a fantasy world where the sky was no longer as clear.
-----------

Our first year student project. We had about 3 months, 5 animators, 3 special effects and photography people and 1 background artist to finish it. Made with hand-drawn animation, PaintMan HD and After Effects.

Truth be told, I've been hesitating to upload this on DA. There are so many other amazing student works out there that this slowly became an embarrassment to me. I did promise to upload it, so here it is. It's my very first animated story, to say the least.

The continuity errors can't be fixed now. But I'll change the timing of the sound effects and music, when I have the time.

It's not much, but I hope you'll enjoy it :)

The poster which never got printed due to the Japanese earthquake disasters:

EDIT: The sound delay was definitely not intentional. Something must have gone wrong during the submission. I'll see if I can fix it.

You're already an amazing artist, so I knew when I clicked this I'd enjoy it. It definitely has some bits in the animation that are rough but all I can say is "WOW!!". For your first animated story I am seriously impressed. It's really good keep at it!!! I'd love to see more animations. :)

@04:40This was quite good, though I will say that there should probably be a few more transitional frames for the characters' movement, and perhaps a little more shading/depth effects to the characters themselves.

The backgrounds were stunning, which is why it almost washes out the characters a little. Perhaps a few more skin tones or shading would help them to stand out better against it? IDK.

Overall, great work for the first project!
